Inside Sales Customer Representative and Export Administrator

Responsibilities 

      • Answer all customer inquiries including requests for quotations (RFQ’s), sales order acknowledgements, order status, problem resolution, documentation, RMAs, and quality assurance requests for information utilizing a comprehensive ERP and CRM system.
      • Identify and grow the business through sales activities and retention of current customer accounts.
      • Process owner responsible for metrics on assigned customer accounts including bookings, sales, new customers, follow-ups, and RMA reporting.
      • Ensure customer satisfaction as the primary customer focal point for standard product sales.
      • Keep Customer Contact database up to date with current contacts, addresses, opportunities, chase plans, and proposals.
      • Oversee the company’s export license administration in compliance with all international laws and regulations regarding global trade requirements including but not limited to: EAR and ITAR classification, entering SnapR, DECCS export requests for licensing of products and technical data, foreign national and denied party screening, and recordkeeping.
      • Possess knowledge of defense and aerospace market and monitor customer and supplier trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
      • Work cooperatively with all other functions of the business including finance, shipping, and receiving, purchasing, and planning, manufacturing operations, repair operations and business development.
      • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
      • Generate sales reports each week and submit them to management.
      • Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest for customers.
      • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  

      • 5-8 years of experience, in Customer Service/Sales in a defense and/or aerospace OEM or aftermarket business.
      • Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR) including anti-boycott regulations, sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customs Regulations (CR), and the Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR).
      • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities quickly.
      • Knowledge of CRM, MRP and/or ERP systems in a defense and/or aerospace environment.
      • Highly skilled in maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer problems.
      • Outstanding organizational and project management skills with experience at managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits

      • $75,000-$90,000

Sales Leader

Responsibilities 

      • Work with LKD principals to execute sales strategy.
      • Promote, develop pipeline, and sell products from LKD’s principals as assigned.
      • Identify and grow the business through sales activities and retention of current customer accounts.
      • Meet with technical experts in customer organizations and recommend products that will fit their unique needs.
      • Grow key account customers through accelerated strategies born from business development initiatives.
      • Negotiate and secure agreements with customers.

Qualifications:  

      • 3 to 5 years’ of solid sales experience and accountability.
      • Proven experience in technical product sales to a range of aerospace and related industry verticals including commercial aviation, defense and security, space, marine and energy.
      • Solid track record of performance and reliability managing accounts and products.
      • Experience executing new business marketing campaigns.
      • Experience presenting one-on-one and to groups, in person and virtual.
      • This position requires 25% out-of-the-area and overnight travel, including some international travel as required

Compensation and Benefits

      • $90,000 – $125,000 per year
