Utilizing lithium manganese dioxide chemistry, it delivers the energy required to support the 5-watt transmission output mandated for 406 MHz ELTs while maintaining a long 5-year replacement interval. The battery cells are encapsulated in wide-temperature silicone potting to ensure structural integrity, waterproof protection, and resistance to harsh environmental conditions encountered in aviation operations
