Optical Payload for Satellites
Telescopes of this line are designed in very specific way to be integrated with small satellites, both nanosatellites and microsatellites. SOP imagers are able to image the Earth's surface in different spectral bands (RGB/PAN/NIR/SWIR/multispectral) with a starting from submeter resolution. SOP telescopes have an athermal design that maintains high imaging quality parameters.
Design Process
Based on the required spatial resolution and platform size, we select a telescope model from our product portfolio. The primary sensors we use are panchromatic sensors onto which we apply a custom spectral filter containing as
many spectral bands as required by the client's mission. The result is that we obtain multispectral enabled imager with bespoke band specifications in VIS, NIR, SWIR.
