Missions

Currently active in 7 Space Missions

KP Labs is currently involved in seven active space missions, each showcasing their expertise in on-board data processing and AI-driven autonomy. These missions span across hardware, software, and algorithm development, with a strong focus on enabling satellites to analyze data in orbit. One standout project is Intuition-1, a 6U satellite launched in November 2023, equipped with a 192-band hyperspectral sensor and KP Labs’ Leopard Data Processing Unit. This mission demonstrates real-time AI image processing in space, achieving high-speed performance while intelligently filtering cloud-covered images to reduce data transmission.

These missions validate KP Labs’ Smart Mission Ecosystem, which integrates advanced algorithms and modular software to support autonomous satellite operations. By enabling real-time environmental analysis and reducing reliance on ground stations, KP Labs is pushing the boundaries of satellite intelligence and operational efficiency. Their work continues to evolve through collaborations and long-term projects, such as those with AAC Clyde Space and the National Centre for Research and Development.
