Inside Sales Customer Representative
Position Overview
LKD Aerospace (the “Company”) is seeking a friendly customer-oriented sales professional for our Inside Sales Customer Representative position. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this position will be an integral member of our sales team. Responsible for managing all aspects of inside sales worldwide and the associated sales support of aerospace and defense sub-systems, sensors and components. Our global customer base of 1,000 customers primarily includes Tier 1-3 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), various U.S. and other U.S.-allied governments as well as supporting the aftermarket ranging from small manufacturers, airlines and MROs. The ideal candidate must have a friendly customer-oriented and professional demeanor, be well organized, detail oriented, highly reliable and be comfortable working in a small team environment while also collaborating with the Company's sales team and management. This is a full-time, in office role.
Major Responsibilities
- Answers all customer inquiries including requests for quotations (RFQ’s), converting quotes to sales, sales order acknowledgements, order status, problem resolution, documentation and working with QA on any potential RMAs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction as the primary customer focal point for standard product sales. Always maintains a friendly and professional demeanor with our customers and teammates. Follows up with customers on potential new sales opportunities.
- Identify and grow the business through sales activities and retention of current customer accounts. Acts as a resource to management in contract opportunities and proposals.
- Maintains our CRM customer contact database and keeps it up to date with current opportunities, chase plans, and larger proposals.
- Maintain standard reports for weekly reporting and tracking. Responsible for applicable standard metrics on assigned customer accounts including bookings, sales, new customers, follow-ups, and RMA.
- Works cooperatively with all other functions of the business including finance, shipping and receiving, purchasing, and planning, quality, manufacturing operations, repair operations and business development.
- Understand company processes for purchasing, shipping, and receiving, MRO customer service and compliance to AS9100D QMS.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and marketing presence. Also assists with account strategies, sales territories and administrative tasks to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Keeps informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest for customers.

Position Requirements - Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Customer Service in an aerospace, defense or aviation aftermarket business.
- Friendly and professional customer-oriented business demeanor.
- Highly skilled in maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer issues.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities quickly.
- Knowledge of MRP and/or ERP systems as well as Quality Assurance requirements in an aerospace, defense or aviation business.
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 and is based on experience level, and credentials.

Because this position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S.
person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must: (i) be a
citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident (i.e., "green card holder") of the
United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, provided
that you have applied for naturalization within six months of the date you first became eligible, and if not yet
accepted, you are actively pursuing naturalization after two years from the date of your application.
